Apprenticeship Boost

In addition to the JobMaker Plan the Australian Government has announced a new 50% wage subsidy for small and medium businesses that take on new apprentices between 5 October 2020 and 30 September 2021. The Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements wage subsidy will be capped at $7,000 per quarter for gross wages for new apprentices and trainees. This wage subsidy for apprentices is separate to the JobTrainer skills package. Click here for more information.
